Welcome! Whether your interest is residential or commercial, we hope you will find Wellington to be one of the most desirable places to work, live, and play.
A planned community of over 18,000 acres, Wellington offers neighborhoods in all price ranges. From condominiums, town homes and villas, to single family residences and estate homes, almost anyone can find their "dream". Wellington offers bike paths, jogging trails, neighborhood parks and recreation areas, a centerpiece lake, and a number of renowned country clubs. Our average daily temperature hovers around 75 degrees. Airplane enthusiasts can land their small plane on a private runway near their home. Golf players can chose to live on the 18th hole in some of the best golf course communities in the area.

The beginnings of Wellington started in the Everglades swamp. In 1951, Charles Oliver Wellington, a successful accountant in New York, purchased the land as investment property. Today, the Village of Wellington enjoys a superior quality of life, with award-winning public and private schools, fine shopping and restaurants, clubs, major tourist attractions, excellent medical facilities, and room for a family to grow. Stability for businesses, employment opportunities, and insuring the continuance of our standard of living are high priorities for our city council.

Wellington, population 32,000, is part of Palm Beach County where a wide variety of cultural events and entertainment take place. The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts offers everything from world-renowned ballet and opera, to popular recording artists and stage shows. Those with a love for the equestrian lifestyle will take delight in our many stables and riding facilities. In fact, Wellington is known as the "Equestrian Capital of America", with the largest concentration of horse and polo shows in the world from January to March each year.
